WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

Once you have made initial contact with us either via email, text, website enquiry or on facebook, we will be in touch with you regarding you and your pet's requirements. We can discuss specific needs and specialised attention for your pets, as well as potential booking dates. If you are happy with our discussion and the quoted price we will book you in. We like to visit your pets once before the booking, whilst you are still home. This is a good introduction between us and your pets, and is recommended if your pets are unsure about new people. At this visit we also get you to run us through where everything is (i.e. dog food, beds etc) and your pet's routine. If you do not wish to have this visit, or do not have time this is also fine.

HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?

I can walk multiple dogs at once. If your dogs get along well I am more than happy to walk a couple of them at a time. I can also walk them in an off leash manor which allows for more free roaming, exploring and exercise with more dogs.

MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. CAN YOU TAKE IT?

Yes, I like to get your normal vet details before commencing taking care of your pets. I am alert and knowledgeable enough to know when a trip to the vet is required, and am more than capable of taking your pet there if needed.

DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC PETS?

One of our carers owns pythons and parrots himself, so he is quite experienced with them. Otherwise I have limited experience with rare and exotic pets - though I am open to learning more about these animals during the pet minding experience. We have previously minded turtles and pythons.

HOW DO YOU TAKE PAYMENT?

Payment is generally given in the form of cash left at your home at the start of the booking. We are flexible with payment options however, so do not hesitate to contact us.

CAN YOU ADMINISTER MEDICATION?

Yes, we can administer oral, intramuscular and subcutaneous medications.

WHAT KIND OF PETS HAVE YOU HAD EXPERIENCE WITH?

We have had years of experience (being owners) of dogs, cats, sheep, cattle, chickens, parrots, ducks and horses. We also have experience with pythons and turtles.
